A collection of field recordings with the theme of HomeSounds. These are mine. Recorded simply using a pair of Binaural microphones and audio recorder some are planned, most are spontaneous.

I spend a lot of my time walking the city with my young son, and September 2017 is no exception, which means that these recordings include many of the places we commonly visit.

This is the aim of the HomeSounds, to capture snapshots of sound with personal meaning. Hopefully they might mean something to you too...

This album is best listened to using Headphones.

The HomeSounds project, created by Recast Music Education, uses Field Recording as a creative medium for supporting Looked After and Vulnerable young people.

All tracks were recorded using a pair of Luhd Binaural microphones and a homemade Binaural microphone named 'Bill'. They were recorded onto a Sony PCM D100 audio recorder.
